I love being a nurse, I enjoying helping people in need and feel great knowing I helped someone that was in pain. The hospital I work at is the best, its located next to my house; I have my own parking bay and my own office.
My boyfriend is jealous that I have my own office, as he shares a room with 6 other colleagues and he absolutely hates it. His main problem is lunch time, when he decides to eat in the office, everyone comes to his desk to talk about work.
My boyfriend always says to me one day I will have to give it up but I just smile, he even prays that something comes up and they need to turn my office into a special ward. Sometimes I think my boyfriend is so immature and really needs to grow up.
This morning when I got into work, my supervisor said she needs to talk to me, and at that moment I knew it wasn’t a good talk. I was right, I was informed about the changes that will be happening in the next few weeks and that includes me moving out of my office.
The hospital is moving all the single offices together to create a one large one as a nurse base. So I have to sort my things out for the office removals come next week. I was gutted that after all these years I have to share a big room with other people, and what makes it worse is my boyfriend will be laughing.
